It takes a person 12-18 months to find out that it has even happened
and many months of aggravation and phone calls to clear it up.
It is your responsibiilty to notify the fraudulent account's creditors
of the situation, not the credit bureau.
If you suspect anything, notify all three bureaus immediately by
phone. They can put alerts on your credit report, that your identity
must be proven before they should give you credit.
